Garden Delights!
What a privilege I have of sharing my love of gardening with the second and third graders. We have learned the parts of a plant and what they give back to us in many ways. It has been a delight seeing the students light up as they give first hand experience of their work with their parent's garden. This week and last we learned the importance of good soil and saw first hand some of the insects in soil.
Soon we will be planting some herbs around the tree for the students to enjoy. Herbs can grow all year and they attract butterflies and are useful for cooking

Did Yaakov Lie?
bh
Dear Chabad Academy Students,
On Friday, Rabbi Doron told us about two brothers. One brother was supposed to receive blessings, so he went to make food for his father. Meanwhile, his twin came, served his father food to receive the blessings instead. His father asked,
"Who is this?" He said,
"I am. Esav (is) your firstborn."
Was that a lie?
