Borrowing or Stealing?

In the plague of Darkness- חושך the Jewish people were able to scout out all the Egyptians best hiding places of fancy clothes, jewels, and other valuables.

Before leaving Egypt, each Jewish person went to his or her Egyptian neighbor and asked to "borrow" gold, silver, clothes, and more.

We left Egypt and never came back! We never returned those objects!

Were the Jews allowed to "borrow" and never return?

Answer in the comments for a special prize before Thursday, January 13.

Chabad's Fastest Typer

Congratulations to all those fast typers in Chabad Academy!

The two fastest typers, Irene Zohar and Racheli Aizenman, competed against each other this Friday at the assembly and Racheli proved to be the fastest. We wish them both congratulations!

Thank you to our technology teacher Ms. Branson for this competition and the prizes!

Bill asked, "Who likes art?" All hands went up. Bill will kick off the Art Club at Chabad Academy, and our students are very excited.

Thursdays from 3:00-4:15 pm for 3rd graders and older.

Cost: $20 for four lessons.
