Chabad Lubavitch has become the most dynamic force within Judaism today. It is a Hebrew acronym for the combination of wisdom (chachmah), comprehension (binah), and knowledge (da’at). It is a philosophy, movement, and organization that guides people to discern every act through these three cognitive abilities.
Lubavitch means “city of brotherly love”, and it is the city in Russia where the movement was born over 250 years ago. Today, there are more than 3,300 community Chabad centers, synagogues, and schools across the globe spreading the message of love and equality for all Jewish people. Among them is Chabad of Myrtle Beach which was made possible by Mr. Shaul Levy and family. Our Chabad center, led by Rabbi Doron Aizenman, has served thousands of families over its twenty-two years of existence. Chabad of Myrtle Beach welcomes every person through its doors and is the nerve center through which the Jewish community connects and grows. With Chabad’s leadership, a generation has grown up successfully here with more families being welcomed into the community continually
